Coursework: Pre-production - Mise-en-scene

CLAMPS: Costume, Lighting, Actors (cast, placement and movement), Make-up, Props, Setting.

Costume

I want to focus on Eleanor and Eli, make the costumes contrast with each other so the audiece can quickly tell who is who, but also have the audience wondering if Eli simply didn't change the appearence to build up tention.

Lighting

I want it to have a dark feel to it, but I'm a little worried about the quality of the product. I want to experimanet with lighiting, using it as props and create meaning. 
I want to use  a lot of day light as well as creative indoor lighting.

Actors

Julia - Eleanor <hero, protagonist as well as the princess (also the villain)>

-          sth happened to her in the past (someone died)

-          shy, quiet, antisocial

-          suffers from depression and anxiety

-          doesn’t want to know her family

Julia - Eli <alter ego, Villain, Supernatural (turns out to be a helper as well, the villain that everyone ends up liking)>

-          her goal is to have fun till she can

-          loves herself

-          confident, materialistic, doesn’t care about

Aman - Lang < the police detective trying to solve the murder that Eli committed>

-          determine

-          suspects Eleanor

-          first one to see Eleanor as Eli

 Andi - Andrew Riddle <Eleanor’s boyfriend at the time, the Villain/false hero>

-          manipulative

-          likes what Eli is doing

-          stops Eleanor from going to the police and confessing

Zuzanna - Anita <used to know Eleanor’s mother, villain>

-          helps Eli to take over Eleanor’s body

Amber - Zara <helper, Eleanor’s best friend>

Kuba + Norbert - <the helpers, minor characters>

Leszek + Kacper <the victims>

Julia - Julia <the girl that becomes close friends with Eleanor>

Kornela - Maria <Eleanors relative that helps her out>

Make-up

The make up with mostly include the blood and dirt, as well as Eli's appearence as confident and dark (heavier makeup).

Props

Definitely a fake gun, a bat, cars, motorbikes, money, clother and jewelary , bottles, pictures, phones etc.
